Electric - Diesel - Steam: One Weekend

Hello,
Here you can see many (over 450) pics from Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
On Friday I made a trip partly by ICE to the German border town of Simbach, on a branchline from the Innviertel region.
On Saturday there was a private special train with nostalgic 2045.020 diesel through the lovely Kamptal valley near Wachau region.
On Sunday the steam museum/shed Strasshof opened for this season with several steam trains and 5 different steamers working at the shed. They also presented a newly restored loco, Southern Railway class 109.13, very special since they now have 3 working express locos of the late 19th / early 20th century Southern Railway. Of course here is also the oldest working original steam loco from 1851, "Licaon".

At Stiefern
The special train, same place. Sadly sunny time was over...
Thankfully there was also a photo halt
Again at Stiefern stop, you may notice that the snow plough is missing on this side - the loco had an accident with a tractor and wasn't fully restored for this ride.
At Rosenburg, further North
Back to Hadersdorf
Little excursion into the Wachau region by 5047.001
5147 on the bridge over the Danube in Krems
Finally back on the Kamptal line at Zöbing in the evening
On Sunday: Special train with the most beautiful 310.23 at Vienna Maxing in not-so-good weather
Again a "helping hand", same time at Vienna Hetzendorf station, second special train with 93.1420 coming from Wiener Neustadt

A small grass fire broke out, this sweet nostalgic fire truck of the Strasshof fire department arrived (there was already a modern vehicle on the scene, but they seemed to enjoy spraying more and more foam on the ground)

Two 2143s have taken over a heavy freight train coming from the Czech Republic
