Manchester Metrolink Expansion

First post in a million years on here but I thought this would interest real-world tram enthusiasts.

As I'm sure people know, the Manchester Metrolink system is in the midst of construction of a huge expansion across the city, and one line is predominantly a street running line, heading Eastwards from the back of Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station out towards Droylsden and Ashton-Under-Lyne.

Construction is largely complete up to Droylsden and over the last week, test running of Trams has taken place during the daytime. So yesterday I took the opportunity to go up there in my car armed with a Full 1080HD WIndscreen mounted camera and see if I could hunt down any of the trams...

If anyone is interested on whats going on, there is an extremely active "TRANSPORT | Metrolink ‎Extension" thread which I (and I see SlipDigby too) contribute fairly regularly to over on SkyscraperCIty at http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=866944
