Hi all;
A rather noteable movement took place today with the use of HNRC 20142, 20189, 20901 and 20905.
The locos were used on 8X09 11:42 Asfordby Test Centre - Amersham London Underground Stock Drag.

Seen here are 20905/901 leading away near Kirby Bellars

20189/142 on the rear

Also the massive shunt procedure at the test centre itself

Many more images in the same collection.
Feel free to comment as always.

Cheers
Carl

Would I be right that the carriage that looks similar to an oil carriage be a match-truck, ie: different couplers on each end? (I can only open the first picture)

Yes, more commonly called a barrier vehicle. I think the S Stock have an updated version of the Wedgelock coupler to allow them to be pushed out by other types of Underground stock.

Dan

I managed to get them at Dorridge just south of Birmingham. Fairly dark mind you!
