Hi everyone,
I recently made a foray into the world of DCC (control unit + loco) and want to eventually build a new layout to use my new items in.
I'd like to model a line somewhere in the valleys of south wales as its an area thats always interested me, and i just wondered if anyone could give me a basic run down of what locomotive classes/coaching stock/ wagons would have been used in the area towards the end of steam, apart from the 5600 class of course! i have done some research online which has paid off to a certain degree but although its given me a better idea of locomotive classes in the area, coaching stock and goods wagons are still a grey area.
anyway thanks in advance to anyone who can help, hopefully being fairly historically accurate will help me select a smaller and more specific fleet, anything that helps save the pennies is a good thing!
