Mainline Manors

Post by WSR2005 »

I have a 'manor' class locomotive (no. 7819 Hinton Manor) made by Mainline. Recently I have been thinking of buying a new chassis with a better motor, so I was wondering if anyone knew if this is possible, and/or where I could buy such a chassis? Or would I be better off buying a Bachmann 2006 model instead?

Thanks

I think that the Bachmann Manor is just the old main line one with an updated chassis, so if it is the mainline body should fit on a Bachmann chassis (ref number 35-300 - should be able to pick up at your local stocklist - Hattons has them for £38. I would check with someone else first though.[/url]

Cheers for that - it's exactly what I'm looking for!

I shall make a few enquiries soon (I'm going to be working in a model shop for a week so that should be simple).

Thanks again :D
