I'm glad Hornbys done a non-weathered NSE 50, but it would be nice if they released a few more variants such as Early NSE, Or a Celebrity too.

From what I read on MREMag the Hornby (ex Lima) range are not newly tooled, the will be package in Hornby boxes with a new motor and a few other refinements, they won't be the "super detailed" models that hornby are doing now, further to this there are no new tooled models from them (modern image) this year... although that is forgiven by the fact that what is coming is pretty damn good!!!

I'm still baffled as to why no-one has announced a Class 150 - it was voted something like the 2nd most wanted modern train by Model Rail readers - do Bachmann and Hornby not listen? Seeing as a 156 is not tooo different from a 150, I wouldn't be surprised if Hornby did eventually announce it as only a bit of re-tooling would be needed. Still disappointed to hear that no-ones doing one. :(

I'm also confused to hear that Hornby are doing a 59, when Bachmann have basically already made it! The Bachmann 66 is minorly different to a 59, so again why they haven't put two and two together to make a quick model I don't know.

I'm glad there will be a new 73, need something to haul my SWT 442 Wessex if it ever fails..... :D
