I stand corrected (but wasn't far off). Pics of it are on Warley MRC's website.

Snap. Although it might be a tad cold so it might be under a jumper.

Anyone go today? Anything special?

I have just returned from the show. Standard just as good as previous years. Must be the biggest in the country, you just get spoilt for choice.
My gripe is with the NEC. What a farce getting into the show!
Our train was already 15 minutes late arriving so did not arrive at the station until 10.25. This was the earliest I could get there without getting up in the middle of the night. It then took another 30 MINS to get into the show.
We all had to troop outside and wait for shuttle buses of which there were not enough so the queue was huge. We decided to walk and instead of being able to walk down the main access through the building we had to trundle around two sides of the centre. It took 15 minutes.
This was all because there was some "Clothes Show Live" on which seemed to have attracted hordes of young females.
We had to leave earlier than usual to allow time to get back for our train but we just tried walking back through the main concourse and no-one stopped us so we probably could have done that in the morning.
No I shall not be there next year. People only muck me about once.
I will be putting the NEC in the picture.

Yeh i noticed it was really to busy to get near many of the salls and layouts to. I am just glad i managed to pick up a Hornby A3 for about £76 then most of the stalls had them for £85. I didn't see ukts there though.
Cheers colin

My complaint was that the Clothes Show seemed to get preference over the Railway Show. Again

The clothes show was slightly annoying trying to get on the damn train.

Were you on the 10:05 from Birmingham New Street-Birmingham International voyager? I was last on; had to squeeze in to get the door to close and even more to get it to open again at International. It as worth it though.
