Bachmann Class 66 in the country.

Post by trains2 »

Although i don't yet have one, a friend of mine does!!

Its not the 'official' stock pile, but they have done what they did with the voyagers, and given a small selection of the EWS Class 66 to model shops accross the UK, but as you will find, they have probably all run out!!!

An estimated time of arrival for the full stock pile is within 1 month, but as we know with bachmann, this is probs not vey accurate!!

Look forward to some pics then if anyone has it! :)

Cheers

If there are some down south it'll be at least a month later when the reach the north! What do Bachmann do, stick 'em on narrow boats?! :-?

no, they start in the south with a truckload, and stop at dodgy markets whilst heading north. They usually sell out by Hitchin.

Picked mine up at the Horsham Exhibition. Only 1 the guy had with him.

Pity they still only have pickups on 4 wheels of each bogie, never mind soon fix that little omission.

Ahh! A visit there is definately on the agender, then. Does anyone know out of interest if Bachmann are going to do a 67? Or is the Lima one a good model?

Cheers

In german the word for boiler is exactly the same as that for kettle... Now what does that tell you about steam locos?
