Anyone here a fan of Japanesse model railways? Ive started having an interest in Kato Shinkasen models, though im not to keen on the track and plastic formed trackbest stuff, much prefer flexitrack and the ability to create my own trackbed.
Anyway, wondered if anyone else ran them or some good places to found out more about them.
Been looking on eBay, but as per usual Kato stuff is very expensive

I used to get that mag, which every 2 weeks you got a N guage model, and i got a few Japanesse stuff, they are very good models!
The Kato stuff has had some great comments, its easy, fast, sturdy and GF models run on it very well, but it is based around the Japanesse model market so they have produced a few bits that wouldnt be seen on a UK layout!
The best point, all the points come wired with motors!!!!!!!!

Adam,
You need to visit the Japanese Railway Shop down at Taunton (stones throw from the station). They have a club layout upstairs under construction last time I was there.
