There are more pictures on the Bachmann website:

Soon remove that with a bit of surgical alcohol
Ordered one this morning. I am strangely drawn to the frame and valve gear arrangement on engines like this, perhaps it harks back to an era when railways were the kings of travel.

Dan

I rang today because the Platinum version wasn't on the website.
I was told that this was an error and they had them in stock, limited to 500.
I'm starting to think tho' .. £200 ?

My Platinum Edition arrived yesterday !
That's one that is not being taken out of the box!
Came with usual bag of bits, a set of etched nameplates/number plates/work plates and a clear green perspex base with the name on.
Oh, and a certificate. Mine's no. 318/500
Seems to have an opening smokebox door. Either that or mine's broken !
