2 New PC-Rail Simulations

Leicester Central

Yes, another new simulation! Leicester Central was an important station on the former Great Central Railway's main line linking Nottingham with London Marylebone. This fine simulation recreates the time between 1948 and 1965 when the line was still busy with a lot of freight traffic, including coal and fish trains, as well steam-hauled expresses and stopping services.
There was also a lot of movement to and from the loco shed and the goods yard and sidings which are part of the simulation. The fully detailed timetable is for 1953 and includes loco details for all 400 train movements. For more information and to download, see the PC-Rail website.

Faversham

Faversham was released at the beginning of this month.
The simulation comes with two timetables - 1955 and 1983 weekday. These allow for a variety of working scenarios. The 1955 steam-era timetable has 353 trains and the 1983 post-electrification timetable has 285 trains. Both include passenger and freight and cover a full 24 hours.
Faversham station is located on the former South Eastern and Chatham main line from London to the Kent coast. It was where the routes to Margate and Dover via Canterbury East diverged, with a branch to Faversham Creek on the banks of the Thames estuary.
