If MSTS sold 5,000,000 overall let alone in one country i would be amazed (That would make it probably the most popular game of all time)

I wouldn't really hold out any hope for a release on this date.
Especially since Microsoft have removed any references to MSTS2 from there sites and we haven't seen/heard anything in over 6 months.

i average around 97kb/sec when downloading although from work on my T1 connection i was getting alot faster speeds a 10Mb file took just over 30 secs

End of this year, beginning of next Intel will start releaseing its 64 bit processors for home use. Also at some point in the near future there will be a 64bit version of windows XP. it is a really cute route i loved going through the domes with sharks swimming outside, my nephew loved it.
lots of good animations although line speed is a bit slow, but turning off derailments solved that
