Re: Portsmouth Direct Line - DPS version
Many thanks for everyone's replies. I did try the simple copying across via Explorer but came up with a blank....hence my original post. I wondered whether it might be a case of using RW_Tools; I do have that but only the demo and the free uses have been used up! So I think I will get the registered...

Portsmouth Direct Line - DPS version
I've just come across the enhanced version of this route on Steam Workshop and understand that it is possible to copy across scenarios from the DTG version, which obviously I have, as the trackwork is unchanged. Does anyone have an idiots guide as to how this is done?

Re: TS 2014
Had a look at that link and i am now more confused than before. If you buy TS2012 or TS2013 you get the routes and locos as per that link. However, the core game itself is automatically updated to TS2014 but you do not get any extra items. Quite honestly if I'd known I'd have bought TS2...

Re: TS 2014
To answer the original question I bought the Amazon version on disc at £19.99 and this appears to be identical to the FCS version. This version includes London-Faversham, Donner Pass and the Hamburg-Hanover routes. There is also a version including the same routes available via download from Steam a...

Re: TS 2014 forum on steam deleted
Yes the TS2014 Steam Community was 'reset'. I would just like to point out that the Railworks-Steam Users' Forums, http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=619 , is still where its been all along, for anybody that might have forgot that forum still exsists. Donal. Evidently they don...

Re: Best of the Workshop
As a noob I find the Workshop very confusing. There seems to be no sense whatsoever to the way it is laid out and I end up trawling through pages and pages of stuff before finding something remotely interesting. But the DPS and Armrail ones seem very interesting, just the sort of stuff I like. So ma...

Re: Settle to Carlisle 1975
Having spent the last number of years on MSTS and FSX fiddling around in Explorer is second nature. But this and particularly Steam I just can't get my head around! Anyhow, this seems to work so thank you!

Re: Settle to Carlisle 1975
Ah, thank you for that.
And being as I am very new to all this (only purchased TS2014 on Tuesday and bought the S&C add-on today) how do I go about putting the extracted files in the game? Sorry to be a pain!

I see it requires the Modellers Asset Pack which is no longer available. Anyone know where this might be picked up?

Transport Tycoon Deluxe will work under XP...well, at least it does on my PC and b****y brilliant it is too, still far and away the best game of its type. Download the version available from the Underdogs abandonware site together with the patch as per the previous posting, switch to W95 compatibili...
