Is there a readme with the cab...it usually gives the authors name

Re: Partions
Following Ians post above I am just about convinced I should create a partition and run MSTS seperately on it. Before I do can anyone tell me if once the partition is created I will have to reinstall MSTS or will I get away with simply copying the Train Simulator folder over to the new "drive", hav...

I take it this would be a "Fictional" Baby deltic then....as the real ones never ran lovely40058 wrote:Hi Modellers,
With the superb Class 37 & Class 40 examples by Mark Shipman, I was wondering if someone would be willing to do a new Class 23 which would go lovely on the MidEast.
Cheers,

Re: Less than accurate .eng data on diesels and electrics
I've acquired many new additions to my Trains folder thanks to the wonderful work done by the many skilled and generous contributors to UKTS and others. However, I've found what seem to be several inconsistencies, most of which, I think, can be cured by updating the .eng files. Inconsistencies incl...

Any chance of one 'caked' in grime? These new 3 sound great, lacking a few green ones, got them in every other colour as well. David Weathering's not my strong point I'm afraid..... but I may do a few more........then a few 24s/25s. Do you (or anyone) know of any green 37's with a TOPS number. Chee...

Re: Anti Virus
No when I said "put Anti Virus on"... then why did you say "If you do go for XP"? It would be any operating system then! This is true...that all os are open to attack....its just that alot of the latest virus are written to take advantage of the numerous security holes in WinXP (about 200 on the la...

So, do you lay a big track around the route, or what? No it acts like a loco, so it follows the original tracks... it sits 110m to the left and 450m high....but its a bit too fast a the moment so it takes a bit of controlling :o Its my own beast but made from other authors bits...so I cannot submit...

The 'L' is one of the 'oldest' MSTS routes - my recollection is that it's been around for probably two years on t-s.com This version was uploaded to trainsim July 2003...and uses newroads version 3 and some of their own trackwork which you also have to install to the global folder. Which raises ano...
