Hi Yes agreed.... a very intuitive person "If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up home...

Re: Virgin Media Broadband - Upgrade

Hi Paul I would say the rule of thumb is that via ADSL .... doesn't matter who the provider is .... the speed is set by the 'line' condition. Generally when I was on ADSL I got 6.5 -7.5 Mbps ... on a 8Mbps connection. If changing to Virgin Cable ... then speeds are between 50-75% of those advertised...

Re: Are the Olympics killing your internet connection?

Hi Stephen
Well if you were on NTL (Virgin) you could only attach files of upto 8Mb.
Been that way for 10 years ... and never increased.

Re: Are the Olympics killing your internet connection?

Hi Stephen
I don't know the reason ... but I've found it slow the last few days.
Even after being upgraded from 10Mbs-20 Mbs.
I suppose it could be lots of people watching the Olympics on their PCs.... or maybe its the security services monitoring everything. 8)

Re: Global Risk Map

Hi

Yes the draw down of the reg armed forces .... the increase of the T. A .... it's all happened before.

Although I thought the map was about geological faults .... and we do get earth quakes in the UK .... Sheffield mainly.

Re: Virgin Media Broadband - Upgrade

We were due for the speed doubling last month I think....... perhaps I'll have to make some enquiries....... If you are like me, you would have probably imagined that it happens automatically, maybe it still does. With them now introducing the free "Support Chat", it's probably worth contacting the...

Re: Pasenger view not showing :-S

Hi Karl

Well then I would re-check the wag file for spelling mistakes and brackets misssing etc.

Or try adding this passenger view to a different coach ... so see if that works.
