I was just wondering, I hope this hasn't been covered already (sorry if it has!) , but, does anyone know if Anthony Bowden is still producing the various routes, as http://www.railsimroutes.co.uk/ hasn't been updated since June 2004, or is he just busy with other things in life  to slow...

Well, in this whole Bunchie, Mid-Hants thing, the only people who are making any money out of it are the lawyers. :(

I have learnt one thing out of it, though, the only people who will get anywhere in this world, are lawyers and undertakers!

Actually, I know I am a bit late in adding, my post, but, I have just bought for my layout a section of track, with a special clip, from Hornby, £3.00. Most good model shops will sell them, and they were designed for the Live Steam models. I haven't actually tried it out yet, as all my locos are in...

I could be wrong, but I believe signalling centres, or whatever they call them now, run MS-DOS, which I believe is actually very stable.

And maybe they should have Apache helicopters patrolling the lines, whenever a trespasser is reported, and Police marksman at stations to shoot train surfers, or at least mame them so they then fall under a train! They could also shoot people walking off the end of platforms... Or even have So...

Oh, ok, my mistake.

I just presumed that the 66's were similair to 59's.

Fair enough, although, it can't be that good for locos which I don't think were ever intended to be shut down in the first place...

Thanks for pointing that out. :D

Really? I didn't realise that...

Oh well.

Maybe the reason trains are delayed so much is because they run XP, that seems to have a tendancy to crash randomly sometimes, like just qutting train sim in the middle of an activity.

They really do look good, they just don't look abused enough for EWS ones  No, they really do look the part, can't wait to get them thrashed along the South Eastern Mainline! That grey continental one is good, even if it has a dutch cab and sounds, it still looks good, and sounds sort of like ...

I think Pentium 4, personally, as in my experience Celeron seems to be slower, even if it is a higher 'rating', ie 3.2 Ghz rather than 2.6 Ghz, or something along those lines...

I have been on: (A rather modest list) GNER SWT Connex (before it became SET) Nexus (Tyne and Wear Metro) Eurotunnel London Underground BR, I think, although it would have been well before I can remember, as I was 7 when Privatisation properly existed! and also travelled I suppose well over 5000 mil...

I have been on:

(A rather modest list)

GNER
SWT
Connex (before it became SET)

and also travelled I suppose well over 5000 miles on the Watercress Line. (I go and work there every weekend, as well as using to travel to Alton if need be, or any other place along the line).

Cheers

arabian disco wrote; 'Now, if the onboard computers were to crash....' Then I presume it would say something like, 'Windows was not properly shut down, one or more of your drives may have errors on them. Windows is now checking Drive C for errors.' :D Thats if they run Windows, which I presume they ...
