I have tried different traction to see if the echo is still persistent. Have just left Edinburgh with an HST Through the tunnel ok, 2nd bridge - 45 MPH echo, 3rd bridge 42 MPH to the 1st rail over road bridge past Craigentinny. 2D track manually changed via the instruction's has got rid of the shimmer but every set of points still stand out - a lighter colure and have Red track clips which stand out considerably against other clips. Not got to the missing track sections yet _____ ___________________ ______________________...

:D No Missing track sections at Oxwellmains apart from under the weeds !. One other thing noticed is the loco / train sounds echo you get when in the tunnel and passing under bridges carry on for a mile or so. Better have a loco refresh on the mighty Deltic now, before 122 miles of driving Main line...

Same here, rather strangely, just started happening running a HST on Newcastle to Edinburgh (like I have many times b4). Cleared cache, rebooted p.c, lowered settings still the same ? happens with a class 66 leaving Carlisle heading North (free roam) too, changed to a pair of 20's on mgr (free roam)...

Its a good innovation this track but have to turn settings down to low to dispense of the "lightning" affect still. Also on a custom or high setting I still get shimmering "rusty" track & every set of point work is nearly White and P.C freezes within minutes. Its a good route but to much of a compro...

Congratulations on such a great route, just completed the "Ore to Mossend" The "Clag" from the 37's is very good (cough, cough!)
