Guys, My apologies if it is indeed a real photo - but I still believe it has been edited. http://www.daves-trains.fotopic.net/p1734170.html http://images.fotopic.net/?id=1734170&outx=600&noresize=1&nostamp=1 See this image taken on 12th November at Carlisle, 5 days earlier. It does indeed show 43013...

That'll be my local - The Mid Hants! Anyway, back to topic - take a look at a later photo which shows the proper oil pattern left on the side of an Intercity. http://images.fotopic.net/?id=1856407&outx=760&oq=0 Notice that it starts further back on the engine, and runs down the side. The edited phot...

I would agree that it doesn't look right - but that it has been edited. If you look at the roof, you can see that it is clean, and the oil appears to have been splodged on the side rather than having run down the side. See this photo (admitedly of a deltic), which shows oil run-off. You can see diff...

Hi Jon, Not bad mate. Keeping up with the goings on down at Maritime, and still waiting a visit from the fabled large logo 47847, after finally getting 57009 after only 2 years of visits... Got my tickets booked (despite the other halfs insistence that £50 was too much to spend on a train!) for the...

Cheers LucaZone,

Would you believe that is only about 3 hours worth - 1 hour in the morning at Euston/Kings Cross, and 2 hours trying to pick off my last remaining 87's out of Euston!

In those days the Brighton - Edinburgh trains went through Kenny O, so would have gone through platform 15 at Clapham and then down the hole!

Hi,

If you need decent internal textures have a look at my website: http://www.ukrailpics.co.uk/railpics/20 ... index.html

I have a large section on the Desiro interior (including the cabs) taken in early 2003 and December 2003.

The problem is simply that the activity is asking for the path called 'Appleby - Carlisle' and this path does not exist.
