How's about this:

Admittedly that is a refurb 455/9, but the refurb 455/7 and 455/8 cabs will look identical.

Plain and simple - no-one was hurt... The press aren't interested unless people are injured (as per no-one reporting the 313 derailing at Euston, or the freight train derailing at Willesden).

I run an APS Smart-UPS which is the only decent method of stopping surges altogether. Runs permanently through a series of filters and Inverters, so if the power goes or surges it drops you straight onto battery until it can sort itself out!

Looking good.

The only comment to make is that the green slopes diagonally outwards at each end rather than running straight up.

A little bit of upto date information for you:

Farnham station is now 12 carriages long on both sides,
Alton station is being extended to allow the cab of the 9th vehicle to be on the platform.

IIRC, the delay only occurs when changing from DC to AC due to problems with lifting the pantograph whilst on the move. I have frequently travelled that route and sailed straight through to Kensington Olympia non-stop.

Was exceptionally impressive passing Worting Junction a little earlier in the morning. I didn't get any photos because for a change I was behind a video camera. Anyway - videos and what photos i did get of Worting are on my site.

We did not even realise the guy had been so stupid until Marcus looked at the video the next day when he got home. Anyway, a still from a video I took late...

Hate to throw a damp squid on things, but from what I have been told (straight from the guys who painted it at Chart Leacon/SWT Management) the colour is indeed accurate as per the original delivery colour specs.

Looks good to me. Only point to make, is that the lights on a Meridian are different to a voyager, so somone might want to make that change?
