A virtual standardised paintbox?

A though occured a little earlier while I was sampling from photographs, so thought I'd throw it in for discussion. Is there any mileage in starting discussion to arrive at a 'standardised' set of RGB values for each livery etc? Mainly to save people from the constant sampling and averaging to try t...

Just noticed this thread, thing is I have them about 90% completed, I didn't have much source material to work from so mine might not be 2 accurate. If you've started on a version Breedlings you can upload but if not I'll upload with your blessing I've no problems is you want to do them. I just add...

There an echo over there ... over there .... there .... ?

If no one else is dying to do them I'll put them into my current to do list. Some nice side photos would be nice though .....

There should be a set of Regional Railways Mark 2's out in the next day or so - if life lets me!

They were indeed modified Leyland (141/142) and Alexander (143/144) bus bodies built onto a two wheel rail chassis, hence they're often known as a 'Railbus'.

IIRC it was an attempt at producing low cost units for low traffic rural routes.

Change only the first 2 numbers to whatever you want, most of the time this works.
IIRC the first number is the max speed (meters per second) and the second accelereation (meters per second per second)

It's not a random crash - it always happens just as you're happy with everything and are going to save in about 5 seconds time :o

Well I would hazard a guess that like myself they have lots of ideas but this nagging thought in the back of their mind that "all this work will be of little use once (now probably if....) MSTS 2 is released"

Anyway I'm happy doing some painting at the moment

A tip I picked up a couple of years ago that can help save the pocket on new software is this. Find someone on ebay etc that's selling older copies of the software you want so if you wanted photoshop find someone selling v5 for example. With it being 'out of date' software it's very likely to be kos...

Re: Lights and wipers for traffic

Hello, Can anyone tell me how to control the headlights and windscreen wipers on traffic trains (ie, ones the player is not driving.)? In all my activities they are always off, but I've noticed in some of the built-in MSTS activities sometimes the trains pass you with their lights or/and wipers on....

I think they trialed that on the ECML - the HST DVTs can be noticed due to having buffers These were the ones used as surrogate DVTs when the Class 91's were introduced to Leeds due to the Mk4 Stock and DVTs not being ready. 91's were paired with a standard HST MK3 rake with the buffer fitted power...

good point - shouldn't try thinking before 9 am :o
