Re: Stock at night
Thanks for the reply Jon - great stuff, rang bells as soon as I started reading your message! I do however still have a problem, I can only change the texture modes for parts of the model that don’t have any sub-objects set in gmax (this allows the alpha to work correctly) So because I have the "ins...

Stock at night
Hi all, Hopefully someone will be able to help me. I’ve been away from MSTS for a while now and have built a couple of models, I want to make the insides of the models light up at night, at the moment the model appears as a dark shape at night!! I know this is possible, I’ve done it before I just ca...

Re: Talking In Riddles
Hurro, The models are looking fantastic - textures/mapping an all! I would expect canvas would give you the opportunity to map things in the way you want to - based on what I get from your descriptions. Max definitely does... I've never found any limitations within the program, it really does extend...

Hi Derek,
Just a quickie, I know its WIP and all that... but your brake pipe is on the wrong side!
UK stuff always has it/them on the right - both ends.
Sorry if its stating the obvious but its been screaming at me!

Re: The Dorset Dumpling
Nice shots.
Regarding the MK2's, if anyone wanted to create some... Feel free to repaint mine.
Granted they aren't the best MK2's avalible and they are the aircon type.... But it might just fill a gap.

Re: Snail Locomotive Works [Class 60 + 66]
There are a few things going on back here but nothing Id like to show right now...
Life is pretty busy at the moment with the run-up to uni so things will have to sit collecting dust for a while.
Thanks for the enquiry; sorry I couldn’t present something more interesting.

Regarding the 66 models already available - there is at least one subclass missing from our current collection,
not to mention the other detail differences and variants have also yet to be created.

Re: Europeanbahn's Website
I can confirm that they were originally going to be classified as class 61s. But I'm unsure whether the statement of the orders being passed during the pre-privatisation era is true. I think Ed Burkhardt (Former EWS boss) is partly responsible for the initial order and that wouldn't of been during B...

Re: Europeanbahn's Website
Looking at the pictures of the class 66 they look as if they have back dated them to the pre sell off era, one is in the old Loadhaul livery and the other in Mainline light blue. The 3rd is definatly fictitious it is in Europeanbahn Livery. It will be interesting how well the pack will sell with the...

Re: Shape File Manager problem
I have had that error a few times. I tried several solutions but ended up deleting the FFEDIT folder and coping it back from and backup version of MSTS. I now keep a zipped up copy in the UTILS folder. I believe it is caused by a faulty shape file as it kept happening with the same file. I have had...

Re: Shape File Manager problem
It's not really a fix, more a work-around, but personally I mainly use Route_Riter to uncompress/compress shape files and then alter them with SFM. This seems a reliable solution. Tim Thanks for the reply Tim! I'll download RouteRiter and give it a go... Not being a route builder I didn't think of ...
