What a splendid piece of work. Thank you JT. This sets a new standard for the Sim. Well done.

Re: GWR Small Prairies out

Oh, if not the large prairie, how about the Grange or the Saint (curved frame), perhaps the finest 2-cyl locos of their respective generations.

Re: GWR Small Prairies out

Yes, I agree with most (all?) the previous posters. I'd happily pay full price for this collection, but thank you, anyway, for the discount. This is typical Victory quality; please keep them coming. How about the large prairie next? Happy memories in working on these 45XX in days gone by.

HST - no brakes

An unfunny thing happened to me this evening while working the 17.15 Paignton - Paddington HST (43 030) out of Exeter. First stop is Tiverton Parkway. Maintaining line speed (100) a mile and a half out - power off, touch the brakes: nothing! Try harder - still nothing, full application - still nothi...

Re: Steam locos

As you correctly surmise 'unfilled' wagons have only manual brakes, most usually operated by a lever on the right hand side of the wagon. An unfitted, or partially fitted (with some of the wagons equipped with vacuum braking being worked from the loco, so needing to be next to it) train must have a ...

Re: Digital Traction Standard 4 2-6-0

I've bought it and I will run it. I'll close my eyes to the errors. I hope, though, that DT (and any other publisher of material for our wonderful world of virtual railways) will listen to the constructive comments of purchasers and potential purchasers and do their best to resolve the issues brough...

Re: Digital Traction Standard 4 2-6-0

Sadly, I agree with the observations made so far. It really isn't right by a long chalk.

Also, engine and tender do not seem to be talking to each other by about a foot! Or is it just me?

Re: TS2012 Woodhead route released

Having now run some of the scenarios, the one thing missing is the comforting sound of jointed track - unless I'm deafer than I thought I was!

Any way of adding it in?

Re: TS2012 Woodhead route released

Congratulations. 'Woodhead' is a Gold Star job! I worked this route regularly in the 60s and it gives a fine impression of the line. Well done, team.

Re: Realistic consists

Why not view YouTube and search for 'class 60' or 'Class 37'? There's a lot of material on there which will give you a real view of what may be in the consist. You may have to scratch around a little bit to find what you want but it'll be there. Of course most will be of current operations but the s...

Re: South West Wales

I see the invisible man is waiting for a train at Llansamlet - do you think he'll get away without paying for a ticket?

Seriously though, your work is amazing. So many of us are waiting for the day when you finally release the route and it's worth the wait.

Best wishes, Bob

Re: Regiobahn S28 - a german WIP route

Although not in RW2, der Schwebebahn can be found in Micro$ T***nsim. The route is entitled Wupper Express and the last edition was v11. I have to say that I think that this was the finest route produced for T***nsim (with the possible exception of the Cascade and North Western route). The Schwebeba...

Re: Carriage formations

One thing I for got to mention was the reason for placing brake compartments at the front and rear of formations and that was to protect the passengers in case of collision or other form of accident. One recollection of my own in the way 'things used to be'. Back in the mid 60s travelling regularly ...
