Re: USA: Miami - West Palm Beach
It kind of shows there's still despite all this time a huge difference lies between UK routes and US routes... UK routes are slowly getting better and better and I suspect its because there are more third people involved who are willing to get involved - create new assets - that help create a reali...

Re: "Viewfacing" Option Error
You need to use TrainUprightViewFacingFlora.fx and also be sure to use the check mark for Upright View Facing in the material editor.

Re: TS2015 Route Thumbnails
I'm currently using a 780 x 380 image, only as a test mind you, and it appears to work fine. Re-sizing to smaller/larger seems to work as well with TS stretching the image to suit.spontin wrote:Make sure you have the size right 256 x 128.

Re: TS2015 is here.
This doesn't bode well :( True that. I'm mostly concerned about built-in editing functions. As it is, we have the tools and complain to DTG that they need to update their docs. If DTG move to U4, however, then there's a possibility (my own speculation) that DTG will no longer supply any editors (sa...

Re: Update stuck at 80%
Some on the Steam forums suggest this as a solution:

Be careful to note that a backup of said folder would be warranted.

Re: 3DTrains: 3D TreePack Available
Seems strange to have to register and then log-in just to look at what they have for sale. Will leave it I think Registration helps keep the riffraff to a minimum - been that way since 2001. Not a big deal and nothing to buy, however. You will still have access to free downloads. :) I hope the euca...

Re: Gradient profiles and DEM
Keep in mind that the accuracy (or lack thereof) lies mostly with the DEM, which, depending on the resolution, can be as much as 180m out for 90m (nearly 600'). If using 10m DEM, then the accuracy is + or - 10m for any given point, and 30m would be + or - 30m. LIDAR data is the most accurate (+ or -...

Re: Google Earth Overlay Working?
It didn't work at first, but thinking the copy and paste from browser into TW somehow reformatted the text, I copied from Google console to Notepad, and then copied from there into the field within RW. Now all is well again!

Still down though here in the States. Funny how such a feature would turn you on your ear when suddenly not available.
