You will still be able to see mail on rail in Yorkshire - the Manchester-Scunthorpe Binliner runs every day carrying two thirds of yesterday's post.

They have a web site at http://www.grandcentralrail.co.uk some very interesting ideas to scare other operators - seat or money back will embarass a few of their co-line users for starters.

Arriva 37TT Mk2s

I didn't get a proper look inside the Arriva Mk2s as i was on a neighbouring train. I hope to sample it first hand in the near future.

I have just made up the consist in MSTS though and all i can say is it needs a soundtrack by Motorhead.

The Hornby 00 set I had as a kid with a TPO with working pickup net and the Blue Pullman. Being lullabyed to sleep by the 37s on the Transpennine. Deltic hauled workingme...

Theres also a couple called 'Midland Railway' and 'Coronation Scot' which look like LMS poster fonts from the '30s. - Ideal for tho...

I didn't find browsing at the stalls difficult and those who found it too crowded clearly do...

I was trying to work out the other day what kind of GWR loco XTC are posing on, on their "Big Express"...
