Cool, we did some stuff along the lines with that on NVR, but in the end we managed to get the tdb going again if memory serves me correct. We had to do a lot of .W tile recovers too as we found when we saved from time to time the contents of that tile the camera was sitting on got wiped and we had ...

I found it hard trying to select multiple polygons using that magic wond thingie you seem to wave over the shape to show them all and move them around. Once i found out how to edit the mesh in gmax i just gave canvas up. I also found selecting multiple faces a lot easier in gmax too (partly coz i wo...

For some reason when you scan an image in it end up out of scale Marcus The scale of the backdrop image is totally within the control of the model author. You can check it with the ruler tool and if it's wrong , rescale it. There is no way it can be an error of TSM. Terence Thats what i've been say...

It has nothing to do with the program its to do with the backdrops or scaling the shape or something in TSM. For some reason when you scan an image in it end up out of scale, hence why peters locos seem too high, i also encountered exactly the same problem in MAX and gmax whilst playing around once....

Going back to the point of Peter's loco being over sized. I have nothing against his modeling, even though we didn't see eye to eye towards the end of the development of NVR. If i remember rightly, from when he was working on nvr with us that when he scans the loco plans onto the PC he just chops th...
