Re: TS2013 and empty RSDL directories!

Thanks - please see my post about half way up the page. i have entered the command line and it doesn't make the slightest bit of difference, whether on or off line with steam. I was unable to get it to work in 2012, as well. Delighted the 66 and 08 are back though the 66 is still not showing in my c...

Re: TS2013 and empty RSDL directories!

class66, 08 and wagons have just re-appeared on the download!

back to framerates, until a limiter is reintroduced I'm sticking with 2012 because jerkovision has just raised its ugly head again.

Re: TS2013 and empty RSDL directories!

A question about the frame rate setting: I know how to set it up but it doesn't make the blind bit of difference. I've just entered -FPSLimit=25 into the Steam launch option and I'm still getting fluctuating frame rates. Does one have to stay on-line with steam for this command line to take effect. ...

Re: TS2013 and empty RSDL directories!

I moved the class66 folder from my back-up to the 2013 installation.

The C66 can be placed but there is no cab interior at either end. If one inserts a driver, save the scenario, and then attempt to drive the C66 the program crashes.

Re: TS2013 and empty RSDL directories!

I've just taken the TS2013 update and all seems to have been painless except..........RSDL Class 08 and Class 66 have been emptied (effectively nicked as we've all paid for them!). Apart from that all appears OK. The only third party glitches I've spoted so far are DT's RB Light Pacific's crew danci...

Re: New Section in Forum?

I was thinking exactly the same - a new thread will be required to separate the theory from the reality when IT happens.

Re: HTA Invisible Couplings

Thanks. You're right. Although not visible in editor, the couplings appear in the game. Weird!

HTA Invisible Couplings

There are 2 wagons in question here which, I suspect, share the same coupling shape file; the Kuju HTA Coal wagon and AP JHA. When I load the wagons into a scenario in some some routes (eg Hedburgh, Portsmouth) the wagons appear complete with the couplings. When I load into a scenario in other route...

Rogercopiedunderstood, Mike

The question is: how do you access the .xsec file?

Re: Hacking .xsec files?

In a thread in 'General Discussion' Mike Simpson makes mention of editing the .xsec file to modify the width of a road loft he has adapted (I've no idea how but I wish he could tell we lesser mortals how to do it) into a track bed loft. Nor does he mention how to edit the .xsec file.

Mike

That looks sooooo much neater than the erratic edges achieved by the normal paint method.

Are your track bed lofts available?

Re: China Clay for Export - 1970s

This got me delving into some old 'spotter' notebooks. First off, some train formations: (coach labelling is mine so translate as required) 2/1/70 'UP' CORNISHMAN Brake 2nd/All 2nd/All 2nd/All 2nd/Compo 1-2/2nd Brake/Compo 2-1/1645 (87A - 2 tone green/all yellow ends) Buffet/Rest/Compo 1-2/All 2nd a...
