Could I echo the OP's request No2 as well - how to get a map extract into a decal?
Thanks.

Re: GD60 - On the way to Plymouth WIP
Being a 'janner' (who's grandfather was a driver at Laira) this was a project I was planning on doing myself by extending the Riviera 60s route over Dainton and on to all points west. The core route itself (Aller Jnct to North Road) will offer the opportunity to add the branches (eg Kingsbridge, Ply...

Re: Oxford Paddington
I think that the organist is referring to the project that 'jivebunny' was undertaking. This was a wholesale rework of the route, as I recall, with extensive modifications to Paddington but, alas, he called a ' stop' to it for private reasons IIRC. A great pity he was unable to finish it or pass it ...

Re: Route Origins.
From my meddling with routes and moving scenery, the route origin has been specified in the routeproperties xml. I can't think of a reason why an origin, say 200miles from the route under construction, couldn't be used. My understanding is that all the origin does is serve as the reference upon whic...

John
Thanks for taking an interest. For the future reference of all the viewers, problem solved (fingers crossed) - reinstalled a registry backup from a few days ago when all was working.
I've no idea what caused the corruption today.

Mayday! Something REALLY Bad Has Happened
I had been doing some editing before lunch - all was working as it should and I shut down the PC to go and have some lunch. Resuming work post lunch I launched TS, splash screen appeared, up came the menu and I selected 'editor'. Nothing - blank screen and had to use Task Manager to close railworks ...

Re: Norfolk Lines
Very well done indeed. I know it's been a long time in gestation and perhaps the 'Big Boys' would argue that they can't dedicate the time to a project. Nevertheless, you have clearly demonstrated what can be achieved with time and patience and attention to detail , the latter commodity being lamenta...

Where would this correction be made?DaveDewhurst wrote:yeah, the LOD needs increasing on the glass.
200 does seem quite short and unlike any other recent addon, possibly a typo that didn't get noticed?

Re: DTG Class 442 Wessex
Has anyone else observed how the windows, nicely dark-tinted as the train passes the lineside camera, all turn 'bright', in sequence as the train passes a point approx 200m past the camera point? The rear cab goes 'bright' too.

Re: Paddington to Penzance
Digital Traction announced that it was embarking on a very ambitious projectto model Exeter to Penzance but that must be getting on for a year ago (?). I've seen no mention of it since. I've a feeling it has been abandoned but perhaps I've not been looking for news or updates in the right places.

Re: Riviera Line '1960's Conversion' nearly completed
This looks superb and catches Newton Abbot as I remember it in my 'younger days' when a summer Saturday day-return from Plymouth would enable one to see some of the more 'exotic' LMR engines working through to Torbay.
Please keep up the good work.

Re: RW-Tools Crack
Mike, I can well understand your anger and frustration at the apparent astronomical number downloaded 'cracks' of RW Tools. However, I would urge you to treat the numbers with a degree of sceptisim. I seriously doubt that even less than 1% of that total would have any idea what RW Tools is about or ...
