Re: To tree, or Not to tree
Some of the best vegetating I've seen to date has come from 'fakenham' who seems to get the line side and open space representations spot on.

DTG French Route
The accuracy and detail of some of their UK routes has been dire - so no hope across la Manche. Perhaps best left to the natives.

Re: Correct Livery for BR era Syphon G's
I must emphasise that this is purely from memory, late 60s into early 70s; can remember a few (emphasise 'few') in BR Blue but Brown was the colour. Certainly no recollection of ever seeing them in maroon.

Re: GD60 - On the way to Plymouth WIP
This looks very well done and congratulations on the work you've done to date (delighted to see no 'modern trees'). As a lad my home patch was from Hemerdon to the Saltash Bridge (and I'm just old enough to remember the steam shed - still with steam - at Laira) so I'll be very interested in seeing w...

Re: Block Assets
Thanks for taking the time to reply. The key question is: assets that are used in assets blocks come from locations various in 'Assets' but where is this selection of assets that are made available to the 'asset block' located or listed? Which leads to the next question; how can assets be included o...

Re: Just Trains DIESEL Loco Poll
Having been brought up on Western Region diesel-hydraulics, I would have to say Warship followed by the 63xx followed by the original Warship (D6xx), the latter filling the late fifties/early sixties routes era nicely. On the subject of which, an all-singing all-dancing Blue Pullman wouldn't go amis...

Re: selecting a large area in Train Sim 2016 issue.
class 1987 Could you explain what you meant by 'its the markers' and how you fixed it? I've moved chunks of scenery and came to the conclusion that it was the size/number of assets selected that dictated success or otherwise. As you've pointed out, sometimes the GIZMO would appear and other times no...

Re: Block Assets
rkk01- you often seem to spur me into asking a question that I've been musing but haven't got around to asking, on a similar topic and I don't want to hijack the thread but....................when one brings up an asset block's properties all the optional objects that can be included in the block ar...

Make sure you're not replicating possible work in progress and not wasting your valuable time and all that effort.

Re: Cutting out a canal using the terrain tools.
I share your pain! Unless the default 8m grid was to be reduced, to allow much finer terrain definition, there is little chance of being able to avoid the infamous jagged edges. There have been siren voices asking RSC to do something about it over the years but they have fallen on deaf ears/too diff...

rkk01, I'm with you on the decal production. Without a step-by-step 'idiots guide', way, way toooooooooo difficult.
