I must admit to being excited about this post. I thought that if this works, it would be one of the major MSTS discoveries, and could hardly wait to get home from work yesterday, to try it out. Until recently, my system was Intel P4 2.4Ghz, 1Gb PC800 SDRAM (RIMM), 80Gb/8Mb cache/7200rpm HD with anot...

Do you use a graphics card which has a digital output (DVI). If so, I think it is worthwhile buying a screen which can handle this. In my experience of installing TFT's at work, digital gives a much sharper, more stable image than the usual analogue output. I use an Eizo 17" at home, but there are p...

Thanks for the info - great-looking route – just downloaded it. Have you found any activities for it anywhere?

I think may be a security issue of some sort. What version of Windows are you using, and are you using MSOffice? I had a similar problem with a Windows2000/Office2000 PC at work, and was advised to install MSOffice Service Pack2. This cured the situation - I had my Internet pictures back - but it ti...

Yur Thanks for the reply. I do have the TGV pack - forgot to mention it- and I will download the Paris-Bordeaux route - sounds interesting. No problem with HD space nowadays! I've been busy downloading activities & stock for Moulinsard - brilliant! By the way, I have just ordered "Trains de Nuit" fr...

Sorry to re-open this a bit late, but I've just downloaded this route and think it is superb! It has great atmosphere - it feels really FRENCH! As an ex-SNCF modeller I could never achieve this in a Month-of-Sundays! Main point of my post is to ask if anyone can recommend other French routes. I alre...

Thank You

It’s been exactly a year now since I discovered UKTrainSim & subscribed to these forums and I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all the contributors and especially those who have helped with any problems I have had. Although I am sure I will never attain the creative skills of many of the majo...

AMD 64-bit Processors

Anybody had any experience running MSTS on a PC based on an AMD Athlon 64 FX-51 processor? I have seen reports saying they are incredibly fast, compared to, say, an Intel P4 Coupled with a state-of-the-art graphics card and 2GB RAM, we might get some consistently decent FPS's!!

For what it's worth, Plusnet have won several awards. I haven't had any first-hand experience yet, but are seriously considering going with them:
