Erm yeh, that'd be an idea. An idiot like me could have totally missed it before, if he hadn't asked ;) I looked over the detals in the 'Info' section. I think £4 is worth it for the model of D306 alone - I love tha loco as much as a man can healthily love a huge oily green railway loco. Nice to se...

ROTFLMAO. Now THAT'S what I call SERVICE!! :o  :fadein:

Order's placed (3 CD's no less!!) and the cheque will go in the post Tuesday from work.

Oh, does MidEast have a website someplace? I'd like a track plan or some such.

Now back to my Marstons Pedigree :) :drinking:

Oh, in my last rant I forgot to say I have a grudge against Bristol Temple Meads. Lovelyt station but when you have 10 minutes to get from one side to the other with 3 suitcases..... I suppose the same goaes for most BR stations, mind you Birmingham New Street isn't as bad by half.

I once did Wansford to Peterborogh (NVR) as thrid man in the cab of a Class 14. Does that count :). I've also ridden up and down the yard (small though it is!) at Wansford in the cab of D306 (40106) Atlantic Conveyor.

There, that's raised te stakes a bit :D

Righty, erm I don't really do reading but I'll give that a scan wwhen I next get bored waiting for a download ;)

I always thought the government should bridge all the road crossings on non-urban areas of the ECML and WCML and take out the kinks so they could make it a proper high speed rail system.

LOL. I knew it was painted on one side and not on the other, but at the time I didn't understand quite why, other than it had been at some show or something. Now I know I'm all the more tickled :) As a little more depth I can add that we (my dad, my brother and me and the then owner at NVR) spent a ...

I can't get the London-Southampton route to work. I eventually managed to acumulate allt the missing/extra bits and got it all in but MSTS just crashes on the 'Loading' screen if I try and run it with the route present. Help....

1: They've only pained the door red, I agree the GNER Livery is a bit dull, I much prefer SouthWest Trains or First GW. I don't think it's worthy getting your pants in a bunch over it, It's even the csame read as the stripe down the side so it's not out of keeping. 2: As far as the comment about the...

Well I happen to like a lot of things the French build, including TGVs. I have stood on the end of the platforms at Gard du Nord and seen them alll ined up, it's a stunning site. Also remember the Eurostar was a development of the TGV concept, so we wouldn't have it without them, and the Eurostar is...

Market Rasen. It used to be a really nice station but it's now the shell of what was once a really nice station, boarded up (although I *think* somone has bought and restored part of it but that doesn't really help the rest of us!! :( ) and an old, draughty, damn waiting room. It's never beenthe sam...

UK Mid East

Where can I get/buy/beg/steal/borrow/perloin/acquire/purchase (OK I'll stop now :D) MidEast UK? Looks good, sounds good and I happen to live not far from the area and am interested to know where it gets to.

Any info gratefully recieved!

Does anyone here have any connections with the railway preservation group at Swanage in Dorset? I'm trying to track down what happened to a loco I used to work on that we ended up selling back to them...
