Erm yeh, that'd be an idea. An idiot like me could have totally missed it before, if he hadn't asked ;) I looked over the detals in the 'Info' section. I think £4 is worth it for the model of D306 alone - I love tha loco as much as a man can healthily love a huge oily green railway loco. Nice to se...

LOL. I knew it was painted on one side and not on the other, but at the time I didn't understand quite why, other than it had been at some show or something. Now I know I'm all the more tickled :) As a little more depth I can add that we (my dad, my brother and me and the then owner at NVR) spent a ...

Southampton Oblivion
I can't get the London-Southampton route to work. I eventually managed to acumulate allt the missing/extra bits and got it all in but MSTS just crashes on the 'Loading' screen if I try and run it with the route present. Help....

1: They've only pained the door red, I agree the GNER Livery is a bit dull, I much prefer SouthWest Trains or First GW. I don't think it's worthy getting your pants in a bunch over it, It's even the csame read as the stripe down the side so it's not out of keeping. 2: As far as the comment about the...

Well I happen to like a lot of things the French build, including TGVs. I have stood on the end of the platforms at Gard du Nord and seen them alll ined up, it's a stunning site. Also remember the Eurostar was a development of the TGV concept, so we wouldn't have it without them, and the Eurostar is...

Market Rasen. It used to be a really nice station but it's now the shell of what was once a really nice station, boarded up (although I *think* somone has bought and restored part of it but that doesn't really help the rest of us!! :( ) and an old, draughty, damn waiting room. It's never beenthe sam...

Where can I get/buy/beg/steal/borrow/perloin/acquire/purchase (OK I'll stop now

Does anyone here have any connections with the railway preservation group at Swanage in Dorset? I'm trying to track down what happened to a loco I used to work on that we ended up selling back to them...
