Re: North Western Trains Manchester - Euston

Don't forget regular workings of 309s to Euston from the Airport, the odd 156 and once (only I believe) a 153 working vice 158 portion (from Blackpool which joined the Rochdale portion at Warrington) I'm sure there was an afternoon 158 out of Euston aswell although maybe that had finished by 1999. Re: London Midland Saturday 321 workings

One is booked to sit on Soho all day (or most of) then comes out on a peak hours Northampton in the evening. The diagrams are on ModernEMU yahoogroups if you are really interested. Almost impossible for them to work to Walsall now as only Coventry crews out of the ex-Central Depots sign the units wh...

Re: Centro Class 323 Operations

Liverpool and Northampton definately. Now rare south of Bir Int'l of course! Other than the West Mids local routes I'm not aware of them doing much out of the ordinary - its possible one could have worked to Manchester I suppose vice Northern 323 from Bham before those services were pulled? Although...

Hmm....debatable.
A stagger north and an early hours return to Brum - good thing it was only £40.

Re: Llangollen Diesel Fleet

i think 37901 should go to the SVR No thank you! The 25 would be nice though then we can get rid of one of those awfully underpowered 73s for the P-way work!!!! The same SVR which brought a 25 with PUBLIC donations, then decided it was "PW Sector only" and was not to be used on passenger trains so ...

Re: 87s drag today

Cheer all. Were they diverted St Andrews - New St - Soho Road - Bescot then? I got stuck in a crosscity farce (no trains for 50 mins, but actually first riot for a while!) and whilst I am not sure what caused it as the XC stuff was still going through but that may have had something to do with it.
