Re: Workshop GEML to Norwich is back up!

Actually, you may be right Gary, as I noticed when panning around the cab the drivers wiper is a thick orange colour. That *may* be the culprit as you suggest. I know I've got to add in the following lines to the loco .bin file <WiperPairs> <cControlContainerBlueprint-cWiperPair d:id="58408736"/> </...

I can feel your angst. I share it - although I haven't done as much yo-yo'ing as you.

Re: Workshop GEML to Norwich is back up!

I'm confused (not hard that!) Fired up TS this evening, a workshop 'something' downloaded, presumably the Norwich-Liv. St update. Went to play it and I have only one Standard scenario, from Ipswich to Norwich - and even that won't play ball as there's a nasty graphics glitch when looking forwards ou...

Train sounds in GWE are very poor IMO.

Re: Update for TSW CSX and GWE released

I'm finding some of the keys quite 'sticky', like when changing headlights using the 'H' key, will take several presses for it to change, and sometimes misses out the one I want, so it's thump the H key some more... LOL

Re: Signalman from Hell?

Perhaps putting a 'go via' location marker on the main line might do it?

Re: TSW Great Western Express

Is anyone else unable to hear the DSD alarm in the Class 66 cab view ? I can't hear anything above the engine noise. You have engine noise? Lucky you! To my mind, all the trains sounds are way too low - no real 'feel' to driving them at all. And even having today's update, there are still things 'w...

Re: TSW Great Western Express

As for track detail: open GameUserSettings.ini and change sg.ViewDistanceQuality value to 4 That looks much better, many thanks. Will try increasing it more to see how it affects performance. I cannot see sg.ViewDistanceQuality in my GameUserSettings.ini - do I just add it at the end? [/Script/TS2P...

Re: TSW Great Western Express

You'll find a number of options for toggling visibility of parts of the hud with ctrl and number keys. e.g. ctrl-1 toggles the objective marker. Since CSX there are a couple more too such as toggling the speedo unit in the bottom right. I can't remember the exact ones off the top of my head but you...

Re: TSW Great Western Express

I see on FB that someone has reskinned the HKA (?) into National Power blue. Trying to find the picture again... but y'know, I cannot. It's on this forum as well, in the screenshots section. http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic.php?f=387&t=148259 That's where I saw it then :-) No wonder I couldn'...

Re: A few questions about TSW GW Express.

In relation to Q4, as a driver, you can stand up, open your cab door and walk down the train,
stationary or moving!

Re: TSW Great Western Express

Another thing I've noticed - and this is not a criticism - is the 'next speed limit'. It can only show one at a time whereas in TS1 in the HUD, it could show several. So if you were driving on a main line and were going to get put in a loop, then it would show the speed for that turnout. But supposi...

Re: TSW Great Western Express

I seem to be having a problem in Service mode with the 66. 4L14 0141 Didcot-Dagenham. Leave the station on a green, next signal at green too. Well under the speed limit, but as soon as I pass the second signal and go over the TPWS grids, I lose all power and the train stops. I'm getting the same bu...
