I'm still confused about routes needing .NET framework. That doesn't make sense to me... :-?

I've made simple mistakes that cause things like this and then kicked myself afterwards. Filling in small gaps in UKFS you use the small pieces that are actually too big, but the RE and the sim snap them together - all ok. But say you go back and re-lay a section, you put in the small pieces and sna...

Railway Jobs

Hi all, I'm a graduate with very little work experience, and being a railway enthusiast it would be great if my job was something to do with my hobby. I'm not into engineering or management, which is all my damn stupid careers office could come up with. So some very general and open questions: What ...

Using them for streams sounds useful. Are the results good? Where would I get some or how can I make them for use as streams, for example?

4 track 6ft way -> 4 track 10ft way

What sections do I need to use to change/link a 4 track 6ft way section to the type with the 10ft way in the centre? It's probably really simple but I just can't get it to fit.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

So if it's best not to use track sections longer than 100m (and I believe you if you say so), why are they supplied?

Is this a well known fact, 'cos it's new to me! :(

Any other sections one shouldn't use?

Have you thought of doing Carnforth to Barrow, or at least part of the way? It's a very scenic route to at least Ulverston.

I'm a student in Lancaster and I had a ride the other week. Going across the estuary at Arnside is particularly fun.

I found a solution that seems to work - I simply deleted the relevant entries from the .ws file for the correct tile. Oddly, any sound sources that I place in that tile end up in the same stupid place; and sometimes I find that RE sticks a "-" on the front of one of the co-ordinates of sounds in oth...
