i didn't know about the terminus thing... how would that have worked? i could understand waterloo trains having to reverse at dorchester west, but the alignnment seems a bit strange for a reversing into south... but i know very little about the area. do you mean yeovil trains reversing, or waterloo ...

well the only one that was built was brown for it's not too long life. i guess it'd have carried whatever the standard was. paint it blue with yellow ends!

yes, real trains run on 2 rails. but some real trains pick up electric current from a metal beam that runs parallel to the tracks, and some pick it up from a metal beam that runs above the tracks.

some real trains carry their own power source...

probably the same as a normal tender: fuel. it did have to have some gas to run. and i believe it was a one off.
