SPAD Notice
Just thought I'g put something different on the forum. Driving down from York this evening on the 07;55 Aberdeen to Kings Cross when I was checked at Doncaster as a Leeds - London train had stopped ahead of me,however only had to break to 70 mph before the 225 was away,of course it was scheduled to ...

Re: Europeanbahn's Website
Also now showing screenshots of the Midland Mainline route that they are working on,I really hope that they don't limit the speed at the start of St Pancras though,I want to be able to run ai trains out of London that can reach full speed

Re: Major Flaw with West Coast Express
You're right of course,at around six milepost the linespeed goes to 110 mph,it is a simple way to work around I just happen to be a bit too fussy thats all, when I'm routing trains out of Birmingham towards London I start them out towards Wolverhampton which has 125 linespeed and time them so they de...

Cheers Martin It'd be interesting to see why they put that in,in know in the real world it's restricted from the buffers but in the sim it dosen't help someone like me.

Major Flaw with West Coast Express
Just recently added this too my collection and am very impressed with this route,it's a good size and not too hard to simulate some of Virgin Trains services. However I've come across a major flaw which may well put me off in future, the fact that Euston has a 20 mph speed limit that starts from the ...

Re: FGW Canceled Trains
When I'm working(Ticket Office) usually I just ask myself, what sort of hassle do I want? 100% of the time it's none,so if someone comes in having over travelled I simply say jump back on the next train and change at Basingstoke(Or wherever). At the end of the day 95% of cases are geniune and if I th...

Re: Trainspotter attacked @ Reading West
You know this kind of thing makes me real sick, one day these chavs better watch out cos older people may end up getting pushed over the edge,it'd give me so much pleasure to hear of a gang of 40 year olds slaying a bunch of these yobs. They will only get away with things like this for so long, the po...

Re: first rubbish western
I remember when fast trains through Chippenham were regular occurances,as a child I was scared of an HST when it was non-stop,so much that I used to run to the other platform when they were due,a horrible situation when a freight was once passing through at the same time. I remember one day when the...

Re: first rubbish western
At the end of the day a landlslip could have happened if FGW were performing well, however after everything that happened recently,it was somewhat inevitable that god himself wnted to place more strain on this fantastic company who are simply going through a bad spell, one in which I think they will e...

Re: 225 Studios Cab Rides
In fact on second thoughts I'll keep all tiles and put it onto multiple cds and label them 1 and 2 etc...... That way nothing can go wrong and if you yourself want to extend the route then the tiles will already be in place. I actually knocked up a rushed version of the GWML and called it Great West...

Re: 225 Studios Cab Rides
Well you did very well to get the track from Didcot-Bristol Temple Meads layed in just 7 days! I can understand how you layed the Temple Meads layout straight as the combination of being a very complex layout and it being curved does it make it very difficult. I had to lay the layout straight in my...

Re: Strange occurance
Do you delete all the other routes then,as when I'm finished mine is the only route I'll really ever need as I'm planning to simply run my own railway on it therefore will not really need the other routes
