Hello, Can any of you bright sparks fix my activity. Actually I've been toing around with my the activity editor over the last week or two. I've finally surmized that to creat a work order you have to set up actvities evenets like 'pick up a car' or 'drop off car' Then i read on the forum that there...
As a side note If you find the nine terrtex pattern per tile limiting...
With some textures or if you make your own you can get more available patterns out of a texture by changing the scale factor, rotate then scale. It's better than having acres of repeating hedge patterns.
Also,
you might find (i do anyways) if you save and restart the editor the editor will recompute the number of objects and yield the correct number.
Cheers,
James
There was some screenshot of a Caledonain Single (maybe the same one made by Traing) Do a search for "Caledonian and 123" I don't know if it got finished though-I think he thought nobody likes the Caledonian....so.

If you mean objects like track and buildings i think the number quoted is 750 up to 1500 for urban areas. That's per tile. There's a thread or two on here if that's your question do a search for 'objects and limit'
I had a simillar problem that I found and tried to test to see if true. Basically I found if I re-edited a level crossing's parameters or adjusted it's location it caused the game to crash. My new rule is if I want to change the level crossing, I delete it then reinsert it in the route. It seems to ...
Just wanted to add that I'm interested in your route and have no interest in mainline running-Actually I've never even driven any of the routes in MSTS. I just started making my own which is never finished-but I'd definelty love to try out your layout. The track layout looks marvelous.
James.
I re-read my orignal reply and feel it wasn't very accurate. Basically I agree with Alan2 that a standardized coupling should be employed. Although we all have our own individual preferences I think standardizing on autocoupler is best as it would be standard with what 90% of interest is and that's ...
Also, if your talking about some image degredation when you rotate your image you might want to play with the anti-aliasing toggle. Not sure if that's what you mean but it used to always bother me!

This probably won't help but there are some freeware programs like bizfrac-for battlezone game. It generates terrain based on fractals. It's very cool however the landscape might be pretty crazy. I never downloaded but maybe there is a way to export to some file format and then maybe you have to do ...
Pretty intersting idea.... it would be nice if malachite green were malachite green when viewed on the screen and I suppose the only way of achieving this is to use somekind of calibration method. On a side note if i can climb on the anti-photoshop bandwagon; I'm a capable user of the program (I wor...
i BELIEVE THE SELECTION OF WAGONS IS OUTSTANDING-THE LIVERIES ARE GORGEOUS. BUT WHILE WE'RE ON THE TOPIC OF WHEELS, i THINK TOO MANY OF THEM FEATURE 4 HOLE DISC WHEELS. i BELEIVE AT THE TIME SPOKED AND EVEN SOME SPLIT SPOKED WHEELS WERE THE NORM WHILE MODERN WAGONS (BUILT AFTER THE FIFTIES) USED THR...
