I now store my entire routes folder with classic trainstore before right clicking the route i wish to use and unstoring it . Then selecting the activity in Easy trainstore Just to clarify. . . The initial steps you outlined (with Classic) are completely redundant if you run an Activity with Easy Ac...

You don't say for definite, but I presume from the message you mention, that you are using Easy Explore. In order to explore anything in MSTS, you must have at least 1 valid Activity present anywhere within your MSTS installation. When you use Easy Explore, it uses, as the valid Activity either, an ...

Just to clarify . . . This is not strange. It is not a problem. Train Store is running as designed. The Activity should run. Train Store is not reporting Errors. It is reporting Warnings . (see "Why are some Train Store messages 'Errors' and others are 'Warnings'? P133) MSTS is expected to run when ...

Terry, Thank you for the files you sent. After much head scratching, I believe I have found the problem. The actual problem is in the file Maroon_PIII_Open_Third_9023.wag (This file is used in the NWE_Deltic_Excursion Consist.) This .WAG file has NO type information whatsoever, so Train Store regard...

Terry, Thanks for the information. If possible, I would like you to send me the .CON and the .ENG file. I am not quite sure what I am looking for, but it's probably something funny in the Name parameter, as you say the Locomotive name appeared in MSTS. I notice that you mention that you have seen th...

Thank you Terry for your explanation, From your further information it looks as though the problem is in the NWE_Deltic_Excursion.con and the D9019 .ENG file combination. I think you will find, that you can run the Activity from Classic. (Just right-click on the Activity, and choose 'Unstore this Ac...

Hi Terry, I am afraid that for me to be able to help, you need to be more specific. I tried to list the possible (very specific) conditions, and invited you to tell me which one applied, but you have just repeated the statement, without saying which one applied. In addition you now are apparently re...

I have installed all the stock on the deltic CD, selected the NWE route in train store, then selected the Return Deltic Excursion activity, but where the name of the locomotive should be is blank,so unable to run the activity from trainstore. Do you mean 'when I go into MSTS, on the Drive a Train s...

Where's the Train Store Problem???
I think You need to be a little more precise in your description of what happened. What do you mean by a system crash & a boched restore ? Does restore mean restore from your backups or running System Restore? Or do you mean you reinstalled Windows, or restored it from a recovery disk? What was botc...

Thanks for your kind comments. I am sure you will find ConBuilder ideal for making those sorts of changes. My suggestion of using the ConBuilder facilty from within Train Store is about the easiest way I can think of. Train Store (deliberately) doesn't make any changes to MSTS files itself. Thanks T...

Hi Manty Train Store itself doesn't ever modify any of your MSTS files, so you need to look to ConBuilder or Route_Riter (or WORDPAD for basic editing) if you want to change things. If you are in Train Store in Maintenance Mode, then right-clicking on the Consist in question will open a context menu...
