Please could you give some examples, of what Train Store is doing, when this happens.
Thanks
Tony

Please can you give a bit more detail. What did you mean by a problem with my PC appeared to corrupt the files and I got an error message saying it couldn't find some data(table?) and crashed. What Windows version are you using? What did you do after the crash? It sounds like Windows Restore (under ...

That's interesting. I have not seen anything like that. When you say 'provided another Route is unstored', do you mean a complete Route, or just one Activity from that Route, or just the Route unstored with no Activities unstored? Have you tried unstoring 1 additional Activity from LB in addition to...

Hi Bill, Installing in an Existing Train Store Installation The software can be installed without uninstalling any previous version of Train Store, provided that you install the Train Store software to the same folder as used for the previous installation. If you do not want to install this version ...

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. I hope it lives up to expectations. Don't give up on Classic though, it has it's uses. It gives a more complete view of your installation, allows you to unstore combinations of Routes (if you need to do that) and if you are an Activity writer it allows you ...

Train Store V3.0
I have just uploaded Train Store V3.0. There are new features which benefit users who just want to Explore, or run Activities, and also Activity developers. SUMMARY ========= Train Store now handles Path swapping and TSECTION.DAT swapping. There is an 'Easy' user interface (which co-exists with the ...

FYI This doesn't address the problem of generating new TSECTION.DAT files, but the next version of Train Store will swap TSECTION.DAT files. For each Route the user will have the option of specifying a specific set of TSECTION.DAT parameters. The options will be :- Any TSECTION.DAT A Specific TSECTI...

I think the problem here is likely to be that the Activity file is incorrectly referring to 3dts_101-dtlcp_bluegrey_night.eng but the actual .eng file is named 3dts_101dtlcP_bluegrey_night.eng The actual .eng file (3dts_101dtlcP_bluegrey_night.eng) has been (correctly) stored by Train Store since it...

Just a clarification on Train Store You don't have to have everything unstored in Maintenance Mode. Maintenance Mode allows you to have all of the files needed for a complete Route unstored for maintenance. It does this specifically so that you can avoid any system limits like the number of Consists...

It's really quite simple. Make sure you have winzip 8.1 or 9 beta. Not 8.0. Not 5.6. Not XP zip interface. Winzip 8.1 or 9. http://www.winzip.com Make a folder on your desktop. Put NWE.ZIP in there. Unzip nwe_01.zip into this folder Unzip nwe_02.zip into this folder repeat with the others. You now ...

Matt, I think you do tremedous work, and you are extremely enthusiastic. We all benefit from this. I think the things you are talking about here though, are likely to be too much for one person to set up and maintain from scratch all in one go, whilst maintaining a running service. By all means disc...

Thanks Alan, I thought that when I tried it, I got many more results than 132, but unfortunately I didn't make a note of the actual number of hits, but it is not important. Even the 132 results are not correct. 1. On all the examples I looked at in the results list, only signal and light were highli...

Problem with forum search using 'AND'?
I wanted to search for all posts containing all of the keywords 'signal' 'light' and 'out'. I tried searching by putting signal light out in the keyword box and click the option that said all terms, but I get loads of matches for posts which only contain one or two of those words. I tried instead pu...

Just to clarify. I have had no reports of Train Store 'losing' any items. Train Store does not delete or modify any MSTS files. Items may be in storage, but they are never 'lost', and they will be retrieved automatically, the next time you run Train Store if they are needed. Problems like this can b...
