arabiandisco If you are using the TSECTION.DAT file swapping facility in Train Store, copying in a 'new' TSECTION.DAT file will not work, as the file is very likely to be overwritten by a subsequent unstore. In this case you would need to update the file in the TSECTION.DAT 'library' you set up when...

Thanks Ian, I am glad you found it useful. But, I'm still learning. My statement about windowed mode being necessary to show the errors is codswallop. Alan diplomatically pointed out to me that the soundtest switch might have something to do with it! This is, of course, correct. I was confusing it w...

The Route Control Shortcut is included in the Train Store installation. It is placed in the folder where you chose to install Train Store. Perhaps you have deleted it? Just install the Train Store software again. (Don't uninstall it first because there is no need to uninstall it. If you do, you will...

Here's a couple of thoughts on this topic. I have been doing some investigation with sound files, but the points may be applicable to cabview files also. 1. Aliasing did not necessarily have to be designed in by KUJU for it to work. The sound or cabview file specification is a file definition. As su...

DOC If you are using Classic and Exploring the Route, you should have unstored at least 1 Activity. (MSTS will not run without at least 1 Activity present somewhere within the installation.) Alternatively you could use Easy Explore. If you have unstored the Route with no Activities, then Train Store...

Concerning Thames-Mersey 3.2 You don't say whether you are attempting to Explore, or Run an Activity, and whether you are using Easy, or Classic, or (if you ar running Activities) how many Activities you are unstoring. That would be useful information. But, it sounds like there are no Paths and no A...

I cannot reproduce this problem on WinME. Either by creating duplicate files to cause the File Choice winow to appear, by clicking in the window, or clicking outside the window. The nearest I can get to any problem is, once it is in the middle of doing a long process, if I [Alt]+[Tab] to another win...

However, it does not give any guidance on how to install NEW consists. See 'How should I install a new Consist or Stock Item?' P 108 I'm finding that when I make a new consist I have great difficulty in getting it to show up in the 'Consists Available" list for any given route. If you create a new ...

You don't say what you are attempting to do. But perhaps the following might help. There is no need to ''Unstore Everything!' before using any of the Train Store facilities. Train Store only reports as errors, items which it needs for the Routes/Activities you requested, but which it cannot find. Tr...

Please could you give some examples, of what Train Store is doing, when this happens. Thanks Tony From memory, I would say a long operation such as "Unstore All", but I will monitor this and advise you of specific instances (thanks for adding "Save As"!). David I am a little puzzled about this Davi...

Steve, That manufacturer just does not recommend Train Store. I have contacted them, and asked for an explanation. They claim that it caused their helpdesk too much time in support. They also made claims about it damaging installations. They refused to provide any evidence, and they refused any coop...
