Somerset & Dorset upgrade

I am sure that I recall that someone kindly uploaded a more detailed version of the Slow & Dirty (not a 'modern day' version, which I know someone did and is not what I'm looking for. Did I imagine this? Or does anyone know where to find such a thing? I would love to use some of the most recent stuf...

Digital Traction cylinder cocks and emitters?

I have found that under TS2015, all DT steam locos have their cylinder . emitters working all the time, so that they go about their work enveloped in steam. Has anyone else found this issue, or better still has anyone fixed it?

Re: Changes to EU VAT laws: Small TS devs may go out of business

Companies now have to be registered for VAT as such a UK company will pay VAT to the British Government on all sales Not necessarily. Companies or sole traders with an annual income below a certain level don't need to register for (or charge) VAT. This rule change will mean an amazing increase in e...

Re: DTG 9F

That's because it has realistic mode selected, with lag due to the steam chest. So actually it may be tricky, but it's more realistic than the original Black Five etc. if you want the simpler 'legacy' mode, press B and you'll see a message box at top right of your screen telling you which mode is se...

And a shedload of custom scenery assets, to add an extra quarter-mile?

Re: DTG producing the South London network

What were the three hills, please ? Sounds interesting, presumably one was Sydenham Hill? It's late over here but I can't get past a mental picture of a BR announcer saying "the next service at platform 4 is the 23:43 service to London Victoria, calling at Redhill, Harry Hill and Benny Hill..."

Re: 4BIG on London-Brighton (updated).

I'm sure I read that that behaviour is in fact prototypical: in that if you are in notch 4, the only step from there is power off - apparently the control gear was a bit prehistoric and you couldn't flip between 3 and 4 to maintain a certain speed, for example.

Re: DTG producing the South London network

A bit disappointing that only southern London is in the route, was hoping for part of the North London section also Harrow & Wealdstone and Cricklewood so that the class 319 & 377 could be used both on DC and AC power crossing London, Think I might give this one a miss Yes, calling it 'South London...

Re: Changing Driver consist in TS2015?

It's so obvious, it's easy to miss! Go into the scenario editor; go to the driver consist. Put your new consist next to it (doesn't matter where). Click on the driver icon for your player service and drag it to the new train. Don't forget to delete the original consist and move your 'new' player ser...

Re: DTG producing the South London network

They've also just posted a map of the network: https://www.facebook.com/railsimulator/photos/p.10152414910598091/10152414910598091/?type=1&theater Tom Bloomin' heck! That really is a network, I can see myself spending hours exploring that. I can see four ways just to get from Victoria to London Bri...

Re: Static Scenery Vehicles

I agree with Longbow, they were very easy to use, look great too I use them all the time although I have problems with missing textures on the 16t mineral wagons now :( Mark How strange - me too! I thought it was just something in my installation but it's odd that someone else has exactly the same ...
