-The animals of Chipping Norton heard that Clarkson had brought a 4x4 and took action to avoid being roadkill.

-No-one told the foxes that hunting was banned.

-The magpie waited for the fox to pounce...and thus fall off the roof.

-Lazy caption authors go away from train pictures.

these images are great maybe im sure the game will come out in october What is that supposed to mean? Inserting commas gives either: these images are great, maybe im sure the game will come out in october or these images are great maybe, im sure the game will come out in october Both of which make ...

Re: I was wondering...

I was wondering, how many posts do you have to do before you become "Well established" or a "Active Forum Member" - I have been on the forum for quite a long time, check every day. However, I am still "Getting the hang of things" :-? Ironically, now it says that you've been on the forums for a whil...

Re: Keyboard.

I've just recently moved to Vista. I've reinstalled MSTS but it appears that it dislikes the keyboard a bit. According to MSTS, the right hand shift key does not work, and the train brake keys appear to be erm buggered. I can release the brake but not apply it again. If I try to remap the keys pres...

Further to the number, a Google Image Search for it brings up things like this: D3452 http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:D3452_at_Bodmin.JPG http://www.combsmr.co.uk/g70.html (From that last one I think that D3452 is a Class 10) D3462 http://trainsferriesbuses.co.uk/17-4-04_37047-37057-3462-bl....

The last one is an interesting hint. :)

The number on it appears to be D3462 or D3452, not too sure.

Looks like its shaping up to be a great sim, even in the default routes. And they are definitely miles ahead of the MSTS default routes. The one problem I see is the awful above and passing under view of the HST, which was always my most hated view in MSTS. Other than that, the views look good, and ...

I have had hours of fun on Flight Simulator X, the Battlefield series and various other online games without paying a penny. The reason: there are two types of server. Some, are sponsored by the distributor/publisher of the game (in this case EA), and others, are run by people, either from a server ...

but what are you going to do when some idiot decides to just stop his train on the route to stop all traffic (like those who join online races in racing sims just to crash other people of the track?) Get the server admin to kick/ban him? what if people deliberately try to wreck someone else? Again,...

I'd imagine the routes will just contain the main lines they are intended to cover. I'd be surprised to see all (if any) of those branches included, it's a LOT of extra work and research just for minor branches. Then when you multiply that by however many routes will be included, it soon adds up. T...

Re: Interesting snippet

From http://www.trainsimmer.com/downloads.html We have an extensive collection of Microsoft Train Simulator downloads for Train Sim enthusiasts. The downloads are designed around the Microsoft Train Simulator (MSTS) 1 environment, but will most definitely work with Microsoft Train Simulator 2 (MSTS...

Very nice, but I still think its very 'bright' and 'saturated'....also, i've not seen a cloud in any pic? Dave Finally, someone has figured out what looked wrong in the pics IMO. I couldn't put my finger on it myself. :) The colour of the sky on what appears to be a bright cloudless day doesn't mat...

Personally, I hope there isn't a deluxe and standard version seperation. It'll just cause more problems further down the line (excuse the pun :)).
