Not sure what exactly is causing the errors, but it looks like you need to check the installation of an RES Class 90, and some Class 47 sounds.

Re: Is your local route available with MSTS?
One other thing I forgot - if the NET route (Nottingham Tram) comes to light, I will have a route that passes 5 yards from the seat I am currently sitting in

(P.S - No offence intended in saying 'if' the NET route appears!)

Re: Error (1000). ? please insert the original disk?
I'm just wondering if everyone has forgotten that MSTS 1.2 (CD version) required the CD to be left in the drive. The curiousity was that after you installed the 1.2 patch via the official download (weather you needed it or not), the CD was no longer needed! I agree that having to leave the media in ...

Nearest to me is either the ECML (through Grantham) or MidEast, which touches Worksop. Nothing running to Nottingham yet!

Re: Error (1000). ? please insert the original disk?
It was always my understandanding that UK Law permits a person to create a 'working copy' of things, the idea being to preserve the original.
I'm happy to be corrected if this is not the case.

It seems the main site isnt working at all for now.
I've not been able to get to the main site for about the last half hour. Also looks like Atomic Album is down as well.

Re: Class 86's to be used on Kings X-Peterborough services!
I suspect that IF [/i] FCC were to use 86s, they would use them on the 'flyer' services between KX and Peterborough / Cambridge, thus allowing the 365s to be used on the stoppers (which could be up to 3 full sets per 86 diagram). I doubt the 180s will go anywhere but the unit proposed to be loaned t...

Re: BVE crashing pc
Exactly the same here.
8600GT card that re-starts when I exit full screen BVE (fine with window), which wasnt fixed by using an older driver.
Will try the CTRL+ALT+DEL exit and see if that helps.

Re: Upgraded to a X-Fi
One of the best things about the X-Fi is it's ability to enhance the shape of sound. The Crystaliser (as it's called) does a fantastic job of giving a much richer, 'punchier' sound simply by altering the dynamics at the upper and lower frequencies. For Train Simming, it produces a nice low rumble wi...

I have the Xtreme Music edition - and yes, it has the Crystaliser (probably the best feature on the card in my opinion!)

Re: Upgraded to a X-Fi
I can't say as I've been that impressed with how RS uses the X-Fi, but it's better than nothing I suppose!
I whole heartedly reccomend the X-Fi regardless though. Superb soundcard.

Re: West Coast Express
Will there be a patch for "Gratham" on the ECE as well by any chance? This is totally unoffical [/i] - I just did it whilst it was fresh in my mind! http://www.europeanbahn.co.uk/downloads/eb_ece2_ka_platform_signs.ace Pop the .ACE file into your Train Simulator\ROUTES\eb_eastcoast\Textures folder :)
