Bggr it! I wish I had been at Plymouth that day!
I've seen a pair of FGW power cars go through Plymouth before, heading from Cornwall to the depot not far from Plymouth (sorry, I have no idea what it is called)
Would have been good to see 2 HST sets together though!

Regarding the .eng and .wag changes..... In actual fact, only one change is needed, as I would just include an appropriate consist with the activity (a DVT or failed 91 loco wagon is included with Ben Laws' GNER 225 set) I would also be happy to include the modified 67 .eng file, with the authors co...

67001 + GNER 225. No Power!
Hi Folks. I've searched the forums, and haven't managed to find the cure for this one yet. I'm doing a 'Thunderbird' activity, whereby EWS 67001 has to rescue a failed GNER 225 set. I've got the couplings working OK, and I have modified the .eng file of the 67 so that it uses the same braking system...

Oh, and just a quick extra - I rember reading somewhere that the short Eurostar sets were going to do something like a full set arrives at Waterloo, seperate, and head thier seperate ways, and vice-versa. I can't remember which website, but I definately read it! Obviously this isn't the case, but I ...

And here I was, thinking it was a topic about the 9 car meridian..... :) Only kidding folks. I was with Backfoot at Derby when the 9 car 222 was stood at Platform 4. I must say, it was quite a sight, especially rounding the curve as it passed Etches Park. Would be very nice to see a 9 car Voyager to...

As for the website, I haven't noticed any big difference, but the thumbnails do seem to be a little quicker. As for broadband, I use Pipex ADSL. £33 per month for unlimited 1mb connection, free email support and local rate telephone support. Been with them for just over 2 years, and had a total of ...

I also remember reading that, to begin with, the HST's were to be classified as multiple units, but later they became Class 43 locos + coaches. My logic (time to worry people!) would say they could be classified as multiple units, due to the fact the HST is always a set. Always 2 power cars, and the...

Yeah, I know what you mean. Its a real shame that it appears so many of the free tickets will go unused, or not be appreciated. As it happens, I was lucky. I used my CT ticket on a trip to the east coast, and (if I am allowed to say this...lol) I bought four MML tickets from eBay, and have used one ...

I got a cabride last Friday :) I happened to be stood in the right place when a 170 pulled into Derby, bound for Nottingham. As the driver got out to change ends, I just asked if there was any chance of a peek in the cab. As soon as I mentioned I was a keen rail enthusiast, and interested in a caree...
