I've travelled around the north east on Arriva plenty of times and never seen the Guard/conuctor in the driving cab for long periods of time. However what if the guard is towards the front of the train collecting tickets during an accident who is there to protect the train then?

I've set up my sounds the same as IKB and think they work really well. Excellent screenshots, that route looks amazing too. 42500 is still in my top 5 steam loco's, I use the period tank engine cab with it too all it needs now is some Wookey style glow in the dark effects.

Apologies as i'm having trouble uploading. Keep getting a blank screen afterwards and finding i'm logged out. Still nothing in my personal library so I'm gonna have another try with the FTP. Tested all 4 zips so I'll put them all on together.

North Eastern 37's on the way

Finally getting the hang of repainting so I've decided to upload some of my first efforts. At the moment I have 37001/002/009&095 ready to upload. All are in BR blue using the original textures from Mark Shipmans 37105. Only 37001 has been uploaded for now cos I've only just started using windows XP...

Bout 18 months as an apprentice boilersmith in Grosmont MPD, very dirty work but probably the best job i'll ever have. Thinking about volunteering at weekends again cos I've been working in a factory since I left and its starting to do my head in. Oh yeah, also did a day helping out a mate on the bu...

You can get overclockers to suit certain cards. I had one for my Voodoo 3 on my old PC, also had a slider to choose between best graphics or best performance and strangely the graphics looked better when it was set up for better frame rates, found it when searching for new drivers so doing an intern...

Railway mags free to a good home

I have a few hundred magazines if anyone wants to take them off my hands. Various titles spanning about a decade but no complete runs. All I ask is that whoever wants them will have to collect from the Cleveland area

I had a go at a blue version lastnight but it doesn't look right, could be cos my PC is such low spec, think i'll leave it to the expert to get the numbers and logo in the proper places.

This would be a good "Fun" model for MSTS.
The Eng file should be set up to do about 300mph like the model. Will also need a huge tension lock coupling

I think the tenders they used to have were converted 3 or 5 plank wagons, don't think they carried any extra water but they did have some kind of locker or tool box.

Is the first leg over the Waverly route? Sounds like something to look forward too, I did a return trip from Leeds last year, its loads better than the Kuju version. Shame I was only on a sprinter though.

Did an activity on Mideast from High Marnham flyash through Worksop & Retford to West Burton, picked up more presflo's then ran down to Fletton pits to unload (with strategic waiting point/tea break) then back up the slow line along the ECML to Worksop where the activity ends. Not sure of exact time...
