Is it possible to do that (model in SketchUp, export to 3DSMax, then export to MSTS)? Would it work with Gmax? If so, I might get a little more out of SketchUp, having built (so far only static) rolling stock models. I have tried modelling in various programs but found it very complicated, until I f...

Erm... thanks for trying, but as I said above, when I try downloading the upper quadrant signals, I don't seem to get the right file. I've made sure it's not the patch I choose, but still I can't seem to get to the "Signals UQ with Animated Counter Balance Arms" file - I just get " UQ Signals Upgrad...

Upper quadrant signals
Hi all, I'm not sure if this is the right section of the forum, but here goes... I've started on a route to get used to the Route Editor, and I'm keeping it quite simple, but I was wondering if it's possible to download any upper quadrant semaphore signals from anywhere. Before anyone posts a link t...

Nice work! It really captures the character of the original. I love the whistle too, it's something that really makes a model for me. However, if I can be picky, I think that the rear splashers need their ends separating like the cylinders. Also, I think there were some pictures in Model Rail at som...

Hi, it's me again... Sorry Kevin, but once again, is there any chance of you uploading Dolgoch in truescale? I can't help but think that 2x scale just doesn't feel quite right. I (not being very knowledgeable about loco building and all) assume it can't be too difficult if you have the source files....

Net curtains
I discovered another method of making net curtains when building a Ratio house kit - get an ordinary paper tissue, or failing that, a piece of loo roll (not textured). It will probably be made up of several layers of (very thin) paper. If you can get just one of these layers, and carefully cut it to...

Model Railway Controller Outputs
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help me with a GCSE electronics coursework project I'm doing at the moment. I'm in the final stages of building an automatic model railway signalling system (3-aspect colour lights), preferably to run off the accesory power supply of a controller, and I need t...
