It didn't say it runs in other countries! It just says it is the leading operator in Europe(which is definately not true!) Connex most definitely run trains in other countries. They operate among other things the underground (T-banan) and some commuter trains in Stockholm, Sweden. Not very well tho...

No offence Gary but it would seem that way ,this is a 99% msts site.I have cdr`s full of Trainz add ons and considering its only just a year old ,i would say growing just as fast as msts did in its first 12 months. I don't care how many add-ons there are for Trainz, I won't use it anyway (and yes I...

Well, Mk1 coaches started appearing early 1950's, initially in 'plum and spilt milk' livery, quickly changing to 'blood and custard' (plain crimson for suburban stock). This was for all regions. I haven't seen any Mk1s in plain crimson so I guess I'll have to paint my own. Can I find colour samples...

True to period consists
I'm trying to make some true to period UK consists for MSTS. My main interest is in passenger trains. What I've gathered so far is that a typical 1950's consist would be a 2-6-4T steam loco with Mk1 coaches, green in the south, chocolate-and-brown in the west and blood-and-custard elsewhere. I've al...

Interesting - the 1.0 to 1.1 update is exactly the same as it was when first released last february (then repackaged in april) The 1.2 is purely content, locos, stock and activities - so I don't see how it could have altered MSTS in any way -Alan You can't tell what the content updaters do by just ...

Is it worth getting then?? Read right through the above and apart from the politics of the leisure software industry and a debate on the inconvenience of snail mail and slow dial up connections - i couldn't find wether you say we NEED it or WANT it or LIKE it. Still thinking wether to get it as i a...

M$ might be too selfish and they would think "people would think that M$ did not do the work"(and that is actually true since TA and Glass Egg Digital Media did it). So what? Microsoft is just the publisher, Kuju made MSTS. That's how the business works. Electronic Arts publish a lot of PC games, b...

It never fails to amaze me why people think the royals are so good. They are just people that have been unlucky enough to find themselves stuck in the middle of a world-wide soap opera. It doesn't matter what the royals are like, it's still better than living in a People's Republic ruled by Party C...

Re: Was Microsoft train simulator rushed?
Does if matter if it was rushed? We've enjoyed MSTS for a full year now, with an incredible amount of third party FREEWARE add-ons of all kinds. I couldn't care less if the default rolling stock could have been better or not, I never use it.... And I don't understand all the whining, err complaining...

There seems to be a thread underway other place,as to why BB can pull a consist,of correct weight, already attatched in editors, from a standing start,no problems. But when SAME consist is coupled on,as in an activity,it won't move! Noted your lucid comments above, just get me a loco that'll pull me th...

Over there you can never get on the site (unless you know a few tricks, he he) I've never had any problems getting into the file library at Train-sim.com even though I'm not a paying member. I go there to look at what's new and I've always managed to get in even though it usually takes a few [F5] a...
