Excellent screenies Chris. The original has always been one of my favorites which saw me foray into my first attempt at route modding, electrification to Hitchin, KingsX stabling point and the Moorgate branch. Still enjoy it today. What's the 31 on the first few shots? Some good texturing on it. Dar...

Just another point. I take it the red R stock had a different cab colour scheme to the aluminium one. Was it the same as 38/59 tube stocks?

Thanks for all your help on this guys. If you can get some pics, the more the better. If you can get some of the CO/CP Zaxxxon i'll have a go at the CO/CP cab. Like you said Glen, it's the same shape as the R stock. May take some time but it keeps me busy in my lunch hour. The Walthamstow Museum Web...

Thanks Ali and Jon. I model all the cabs i do in 3D in Gmax. It gives you alot of fexibility, then take screenshots. If you want a shot of the whole cab Jon that's certainly not a problem. I'll experiment with different positions. Iv'e just downloaded the 3DS Max 8 trial version and you get a months...

Slow Progress

Hi Everyone, It's all gone quiet on here since the release of the 1973 stock. Anyway, progress on the R Stock cab is painfully slow due to the lack of photographic material. To date Glen is the only provider of the sole pic i've had to work with and i can't really do much more without further materi...

Yep! The full shooting match. 'Minotaurs', next station, this station, where train is terminating, door opening/closing sounds. Great experience.

Just in case you have any doubts tydev417 there's the proper cab for the refurbished 1967 stock used on the route in the depot at the moment.

Pre Positioned Spotter Cam

Hi Everyone, In my camcfg.dat file there is text that says the spotter cam can be placed in a routes world file to view a pre programmed position. Does anyone know how to do this. Cheers Darren. Skip ( This file defines the basic camera types. Camera types: StaticCamType Pos + rot ObjectCamType Obje...

It came from http://www.underground-sim.ch and the Northern Line's in progress at the moment, can't wait. I applied the latest MSTS Bin patch to get out the cab in tunnels and changed the spotter cam to full to give me full flexibility of lining the shot in case anyone needs to know. All The Best. D...

Thanks everyone. It's a good route. Track and tunnel textures could be better but the stations are worth the seven quid alone. There's nothing like flying out the pipe at 45mph and trying to hit the stop marks without lessening the brake application which i believe is how most tube drivers operate. ...

Down the Tube

I went down on the Victoria line last night, and what a suprise to see Doc driving the refurb 73 Heathrow bound train on route to Seven Sisters. Lots of angry passengers will be missing their flights. [album 41425 1.jpg] Arriving at Stockwell [album 41425 2.jpg] Arriving at Stockwell [album 41425 3....
