Re: Standard Stock V2 Uploaded
It sounds like the exporter for RailWorks deals with the Alpha of the windows in a different way to RS. I've used TrainGlass.fx for that and I'm not sure if RS understands that shader. If that's the only thing you've found wrong with the model, I may export the cab again without that shader so all R...

Re: Standard Stock V2 Uploaded
Only the centre window of the cab in NSE livery should be black. This stock was designed to work in RailWorks. I haven't tested V2 in RailSimulator.

Yes they did. It was permanently enabled hence why the flag was actually removed.

No need to bother. We've sorted it for Sarah Siddons.

Re: Standard Stock V2 Uploaded
As far as I can tell, the arcing in the Standard Stock pack is done by an infinitely looping animation, whilst the arcs of the Class 380 use scripts – they occur at random intervals and lengths. Thanks benkda1, that's just the kind of information I needed to know. My next question was going to be, ...

Re: Standard Stock V2 Uploaded
I expect they can be tweaked. That's something else to update. As you say they do look a bit batman like as I used a star shaped graphic and alpha channel to create the effect in the particle emitter. It was all a bit of a test bed really. I will have another look at this. Does the 380 flash continu...

Thanks Reppo. I'll try and work that into 3DC.
I look forward to seeing your video.

Re: Swing of train. Is it possible?
Nice work Reppo. I'd love to use this idea on our London Underground models seeing as they are very rickety and move around alot. What settings did you use to set up the sway animation in 3DC. Did you use 3DC to model it. I can export the cab with sway but during the sway animation all the dials and...

Re: Are Digital Gauges Possible
Thanks Guy's.
This looks like it will have to be achieved through scripting then.
Is there no direct blueprint control for digital gauges. I'm trying to create a digital speedometer for my next cab.
If we can do it through scripting I'm sure I can get some help to fathom it out.
Cheers.

Are Digital Gauges Possible
A nice simple question.
Are working digital gauges possible in cabs and has anyone come across any.
Cheers.

Re: Controllable Doors
Thanks Ross. That would be ok if you were designing your own route but if you need to adjust the times of someone elses you will need to find where that blueprint is defined and edit in RW_Tools. The wait time function seems to be totally adjustable but the pick up passengers wont go down below 35 s...

Re: Controllable Doors
Well! I tried that and it wouldn't let me put in any time less than 35 seconds for picking up passengers which operates the doors for AI and player service.
Like you say, the manual says you can do it. I must be missing a trick here.
