Re: NS Mat 54 (Hondekop) Dutchrailway
Are you creating your own blueprints from scratch? The Max speed is declared in the simulation blueprint in the train brake assembly section of all places  Brakes can be very tricky if you haven't got the train data to hand, it could be trial and error. I'm sure we saw a single car version of ...

Re: NS Mat 54 (Hondekop) Dutchrailway
Nice model Leerlingstoker. I remember seeing loads of the yellow ones when we went over to Holland for the EM2 railtour. I think it was 1985. We nicknamed them bananas. Because the overhead is 1500VDC over there, I noticed that the EM2's start with both pantographs up then lowered one as the train g...

Re: An animation problem
No problem chaddockdk. In fact, in sorting your problem we may have resolved an issue we had in our own stocks. I found this in the Dev Docs :- Use TCB rotation on wipers, so they have a natural motion and they will stay parallel to the windshield they’re on (Euler rotations will cut through the win...

Re: An animation problem
Hmmm! If you delete the internal animation for the wiper, the external one should now work at the speeds you set in 3DC. Try using 16 keys of animation at 10 keys per second for the single wipe to see if you get continuous motion from the wiper.

Re: An animation problem
I'm using 3DC and came across the same wiper problem when developing the Standard Stock. http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic.php?f=307&t=102001 I'ts all to do with the amount of frames and timing you use for the external wiper and the cabview wiper. Basically, they have to be the same. When RS fi...

Re: Cabs
Have to agree with both you guy's. It really does need to be a labour of love which means going to considerable lengths and cost to get reference material or even access to a cab to take pics. My Standard Stock cab took nearly eight months to complete because of the level of detail that I required. ...

Re: JT 20
The only minor thing with this for me, and RW stock in general i suppose, is that the brake pipes and multiple working cables don't connect, like they do on 'Trainz'. I know its a really minor thing, but it just seems 'missing' when you use the DRS '20's and '37's on the RHTT because the MW socket ...

Re: RailWorks, I Salute You
Thanks Andy. We did wonder about having a key depressed all the time but there was a limitation with the animation. In the end, we just settled for attaching it to the throttle keys A and D so when you move it back to the off postition you have to make sure you don't go to far or the deadmans and th...

RailWorks, I Salute You
At last, since the first release of MSTS, I've wanted to drive two handle underground stock the way thay should be driven with fully interlocked reverser and throttle with deadmans operation. And now we have it. :D Thanks to Jimi Ibbet's wonderful scripting and the power of RailWorks we now have a f...

Re: Standard Stock V2 Uploaded
This is the update so far. Now with fully interlocking controls for the reveser and throttle plus deadmans operation if you go past the off position whilst motoring. Jimi has worked wonders with the scripting. Sounds are ripped off of Ian's cab ride videos.Turn up the sound and enjoy. http://www.you...

Re: Versions 7 and 8
Hang on. I tried that on Windows Vista and it wouldn't have it. Once you load and run 8 when you try to go back to 7 it wont let you launch. It throws up an error each time, most probably because something has changed in the registry. I couldn't get on with 8 so I uninstalled it and put 7 back on ag...

Re: Standard Stock V2 Uploaded
Well, I got it into RS but the animations don't work now. I have modified the cab and animation files for the next update for which were working on so it looks like you'll have to wait for that which will hopefully be the last. I will ensure that it works in RS aswell as RW.

Yes I do have RS installed. What did you do to get the RWP package into RS.
