When I did the 3440 "return to mainline" kettle run a while back - (wasn't on it for the steam - yuck - it featured a tractor on the return leg :D ) - almost every coach had a mike taped to the roof, with a wire trailing through the quart-light puersumably to a tape recorder or similar.. (Although w...

It's because you've effectivley tried to use the IMG tag to link a webpage. Those files aren't the fotopic images - they're webpages - hence why they don't end in .jpg Open the gallery in the my.fotopic.net window, and choose images. If you look at the image properties (click the hyperlink), it'll g...

PS - just realised that the jpeg compression has made the trees look blurred. If anyone wants I can post a high res pic, where you can see every branch in the distance :)

The trees in the distance are NOT blurred. There is heat haze which makes them look blurred, but if y...

I was gutted that i missed it, turned up at Tavy junction a little late to see it go past, but just as i did turn up 66214 just left. Doesn't quite make up for missing it, but made me feel a little better. <IMG width="800" height="600" SRC="http://www.atomic-album.com/showPic.php/103044/CIMG0439.JP...

unlucky about the fog... I was dreading opening my curtains and looking at the weather in the morning.. Coming home from Redruth on the bike the night before I had to keep my visor up because of fog.. It was in all honesty the worst I'd seen. However by morning it'd all gone! Horray.. Still, the fog...
